IDfusion, LLC, is a technology company specializing in researching and developing advanced security solutions for information technology. Located in Fargo, ND, IDfusion has leveraged science from a variety of disciplines to produce a secure computing platform called the Firenodeā„¢ and extended the concept of a container to offer security  previously unavailable. We also provide security consulting services and specialize in assisting organizations with the use of Intel Corporation’s TXT and SGX technology.

IDfusion, LLC, consists of four principals:

Greg Wettstein, R. Ph, Ph. D.

Dr. Wettstein brings extensive experience in healthcare and information security infrastructure design and development to the team. He has been active in developing opportunity specific solutions on top of the Linux eco-system since he pioneered the first commercial deployment of Linux in 1993 in the form of a patient information management system for a regional health care provider. He has had start-up experience with Sistina Software when he developed their professional services training program before their acquisition by Red Hat. In his role as Principal Engineer at NDSU he has led middleware design projects, architected and delivered four generations of high performance computing platforms and has co-managed the design and deployment of a state of the art converged storage/data network.

Johannes “John” Grosen, MS, PMP

With a Masters Degree in Computer Science John was an early collaborator with Dr. Wettstein in defining the importance of identity in information management and security and in conceptualizing the three entity identity model on which IDFusion is based. He held positions as a System Administrator, Senior System Administrator, Associate Director and Director of Infrastructure services at NDSU before joining the University of Minnesota in 2006. He held positions there as IT Director for the College of Design, Senior Director for Infrastructure and Production, and Enterprise Infrastructure Architect.

Rick Engen, MSFS

As President of Financial Advantage Wealth Management he brings financial and business development experience to the same role in IDFusion. He has assisted multiple times in business development of technology companies which included early delivery of INTERNET services to the region.

Scott Stofferahn

Scott has been a long time advocate of the ability of the IDFusion platform to stem the current crisis in information privacy and security. As the former State Director for Senator Kent Conrad he worked to develop liaisons with entities such as the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT) and Health and Human Services (HHS). Scott has had the opportunity to play significant roles in Washington, DC in the development of agricultural policy and is currently Executive Vice-President of Golden Growers Cooperative.
